Personal Training Built Around Your Goals
A good training program should have a clear purpose. Before recommending exercises, we take time to understand what you want to achieve and what may have stopped you from making progress in the past.
You may want to become stronger, improve general fitness, lose body fat, move with more confidence, or return to exercise after a long break. Some members need a simple plan and regular guidance. Others want more detailed coaching to improve their technique or performance.
Your program should reflect your current ability rather than an ideal starting point. Exercises can be adjusted to suit your experience, confidence, mobility, and any limitations you are managing.
This personalised approach helps make training feel achievable. It also gives you a clear direction each time you enter the gym.
FLEXIBLE TRAINING OPTIONS
Choose the Right Personal Training Option
One-to-One Personal Training
One-to-one personal training provides dedicated time with a trainer. This option may suit members who want close technique guidance, have a specific performance goal, or prefer a more private training environment. One-to-one sessions are arranged directly with the trainer. Availability and pricing may vary depending on the coach and the support required.
Group Personal Training
Group personal training combines professional coaching with the motivation of exercising alongside other members. Exercises can still be adjusted to suit different fitness levels within the session. Members with an eligible plan can attend unlimited group personal training sessions without booking. Sessions restart on the hour, and members can warm up and join when they arrive. Independent Gym Training
Experienced members may prefer to train independently using the gym equipment. EFM Glenelg provides 24-hour member access, making it easier to exercise before work, after work, or at another convenient time. Members who train independently can still benefit from having a structured program rather than choosing random exercises during every visit.
